I’ve been cataloguing Books, DVDs etc in Delicious Library using my MacBook’s built-in iSight camera to scan the barcode – and leaving it in scanning mode, pointed at my face, it keeps recognizing my face as a barcode.

Now if that’s not a compliment, I don’t know what is.

I had a recommended item Best of Modern Russian Erotica appear in a side link on amazon.co.uk.

“What on earth have I been looking at for it to suggest that!?” I thought, as I clicked on the “Recently viewed items” link it was offering me.

At least I feel wide awake; a quick look in the mirror suggests I appear like I’ve been recently dug-up and crudely re-animated.
It must have been the switch to daylight saving time that has ruined my body clock.

Or the delusional belief that I could handle coffee AND chocolate at about 9 p.m., and that SleepyMilk++ would knock me out sufficiently.

Well, it did, until I woke up at 2:45 with a minor hangover…

There’s not a better way to commiserate one’s birthday than tucking into bits of dead creature that have been skilfully hacked into long strips and battered. None at all.
